|Recommended: YesBeautiful property, tucked away from the hustle bustle of the city — We like our unit because it reminds us of living in a condo instead of an apartment. Would have loved a garage space, but our unit did not have one. Appliances are old and suck up a lot of energy unfortunately. Would love some high efficiency appliances for the price we pay for rental. All in all, a good place to live.
|Recommended: YesIt's very nice — My apartment is very quiet, which is the most important thing to me. I think the layout is beautiful, I love my shower and garden tub and I love my little patio. I think they take excellent care of the grounds, in the summer the grass is always beautiful and in the snow they have done such a great job with snow removal and salting the walkways. Parking is a really big problem, there are no spaces for guests to park in and sometimes other cars park in my one assigned space which is inconvenient. But all in all it is a wonderful place to live and I really appreciate everyone who works here to make it so nice.
|Recommended: YesGreat floor layouts, typical corporate apartments. — Overall a good experience. Staff was very helpful from maintenance to any paperwork, etc. Things are very organized, apartment has a great layout, lots of natural light and storage space. Didn't hear my upstairs next door neighbors very much.
Some issues included the gate working only about 50 of the time for the first six months or so that I lived there. Even when it was it's a bit of a joke since the pedestrian gate doesn't really lock shut so anyone could technically come in. Trash cart hours are business hours, so if you're working plan on taking your trash all the way to the dumpster yourself. Insulation on the apartments isn't great, expect decently high electric heating bills for the apartment size in the winter.
Overall a nice community with responsive staff.

It is so nice to sleep with my windows open, because it is so quiet at night. — I moved in here because of the great reviews on the maintenance. I have been here almost 5 months, and while I have not had to put in many work orders for maintenance issues, the response has been speedy and effective every time.

|Recommended: YesDecent for the price — I have lived here since December 2017, and overall it's been a good experience. The trash situation is not ideal - bins are put out when most everyone is at work during the day, and not at consistent hours. There is an option to haul your trash over to an industrial sized bin on the other end of the property if you miss the window. There is not really any guest parking, and I have had a guest need to park on the street to have his car window broken. The grounds are lovely, and I love the lilac bushes. More mind could be paid to upkeeping areas where people take their dogs refilling poop bags or emptying trash . Staff is usually great, especially maintenance, aside from them not replacing my microwave when it literally exploded. But overall, a decent place to live.
|Recommended: YesFabulous Community — It is peaceful, quaint, and a wonderful place to live. The staff are very friendly and are there to help should you need it. Neighbors are kind, courteous, and quiet. Lovely home

|Recommended: YesThey take the Retreat in their name seriously. — This apartment complex is my favorite apartment I have ever lived in. It's beautiful, quite, secluded, gated, has more of a town house feel rather than an apartment complex. Everyone I meet is always so kind. Very quick and helpful staff, whenever an order is submitted it gets taken care of within a day or two. So far I have not had anything to complain about.

|Recommended: YesThe Nicest Place I Have Ever Lived — The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the grounds are beautiful, the apartment is in AMAZING shape, the appliances work great we're in love with our washer and dryer , and the space is just the right amount.
Only complaints are that I wish there was more guest parking, and that the wall between our stairs and our downstairs neighbor are SO THIN we can hear EVERYTHING. Although, given that we couldn't hear anything with our last neighbor this could just be the new tenants fault All in all, we plan to live here a long time
